Today I am thankful for a great day at The Alabama Open karate tournament with my Nicholas. He overcame his nervousness and won 1st Place in his Bo Kata/Kobudo and 2nd Place in Sparring/Kumite. What a gift to watch him pursue, diligently, something he really enjoys and excels at. I am so proud of my young man.
