Slow Down...
...and create a moment of peace.
Allow yourself to STOP, right now! Come to rest at the feet of The One and Only.
Take in your favorite scripture and let it soak into your heart, mind and soul. "The Lord is my Strength, The Lord is my Strength, The Lord is my Strength...."
Light a candle and give thanks to the Lord that He is the Light and the Glory, chasing away the darkness that tries to invade your life.
Say prayers of Thanksgiving and Praise for the blessings He has bestowed upon you even in the midst of the storms.
Pray for protection for you and your family and loved one. Plead the Blood of Jesus over them drawing a hedge of protection around them (as the Israelites did by applying the blood of the lamb on the doorposts in Egypt).
Sing the blessed hymn,
"What can wash away my sin,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
What can make me whole again,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
Refrain: Oh! precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow;
No other fount I know,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
For my pardon, this I see,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
For my cleansing this my plea,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain
Nothing can for sin atone,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
Naught of good that I have done,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain
This is all my hope and peace,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus;
This is all my righteousness,
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain
Now by this I’ll overcome—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
Now by this I’ll reach my home—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain
Glory! Glory! This I sing—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus,
All my praise for this I bring—
Nothing but the blood of Jesus.
Refrain
Treat yourself to a hot bath, a short nap or a walk in the crisp cool air to rejuvenate your body and mind and ward off the stresses and strains of the world and enjoy The Christ! For He love loves you and came to live and die so that you may live and never die but live Eternally with Him in Glory.
